Hoodic received a grant from the International Student Wellbeing Program, normally programs relate to mental health and personal wellbeing. Career is a significant contributor towards international student wellbeing so our program was funded.
We ran a series of communication workshops, a leadership program and a career conference. This program was delivered to over 180 international students from a wide range of countries and study disciplines.
Several of the students who went through the program achieved professional employment outcomes shortly afterwards. One example is a student who became a Senior Operations Manager of a recycling facility.
